Denis Shelly Legal Costs Accountants was established in August, 2016 by Denis Shelly, a native of Carlow.

We work closely with Solicitors, Barristers and Insurance Companies across Ireland, and specialise in the preparation and Adjudication of Party and Party costs.

Denis previously worked in general practice in a large Carlow firm of Solicitors, and also with a firm of Legal Costs Accountants in Dublin .

The practice has a particular interest in the areas of personal injury litigation and medical negligence. Denis obtained an LLM in the area of medical negligence litigation, and has a vast amount of knowledge in the area and the costs arising from same.

The Company is the only business specialising in the area of legal costs in the South East of Ireland, and undertakes work for Solicitor firms nationwide.

With the importance of cash flow being more important than ever, we undertake work without delay and aim to have costs paid to our clients at the earliest opportunity.

Denis frequently attends Taxations before County Registrars in the Circuit Court, and the Legal Costs Adjudicators in the High Court when necessary.

Our aim has always been to build trust and relationships with our clients, and to be their Legal Costs Accountant of choice.
